Zoals ik al in mijn vorige berichtje had aangegeven, wilde ik proberen om meer kaarten te maken. Net voor ik op vakantie ging naar het fantastische New York, heb ik nog meegedaan aan de Bellarific Challenge bij Stamping Bella. Voor deze challenge moesten we een sketch namaken en dit is mijn resultaat met Cosmobella:

En omdat ik toen toch lekker bezig was, ben ik gelijk verder gegaan met nog een kaart. Dit is een van mijn favoriete Bellas (Fashionistabella), je kunt haar zo leuk combineren met allerlei Cuttlebug achtergronden:

Dit is mijn laatste dag van de vakantie, maandag is het weer back to work. Ik hoop mijn goede voornemens te kunnen volhouden en steeds vaker leuke kaartjes te maken.

Mid Year's Resolutions

Ik weet dat het niet echt het begin van het nieuwe jaar is, dus heb ik me nu voorgenomen om dan maar in het midden van het jaar goede voornemens te hebben en uit te voeren :-). Ik ben al een hele tijd niet meer heel erg creatief geweest. Kijk maar naar de datum van mijn vorige bericht, schaam schaam. Maar een mens kan altijd veranderen, zeg ik zelf. Dus let's give it a go. Ik wil echt weer gaan proberen om regelmatiger creatief te zijn en daarvoor heb ik een aantal goede voornemens. Hier komen ze:

1. Hobbykamer compleet reorganiseren (zeg maar extreme room makeover,
een beetje hulp van Ty zou geen kwaad kunnen, haha).

2. Een goede opbergplek zoeken/maken voor al mijn Bella stempels.

3. Weer regelmatiger een kaart maken, dus vaker meedoen aan challenges.

4. Niks meer kopen tot ik op zijn minst een kwart heb gebruikt van wat ik nu heb liggen.

Hmm, deze vier voornemens zullen me waarschijnlijk tot aan het einde van het jaar kosten om gedaan te krijgen, maar goed het is een begin. Ik heb net de lijst met alle Bella's die ik heb bijgewerkt op mijn blog, dus dat is al weer een beginnetje. Nu wil ik deze week voor het eerst in lange tijd weer eens mee gaan doen aan de Bellarific Challenge bij Stamping Bella, dus dat valt onder voornemen 3, waarbij ik dan natuurlijk gebruik maak van de spullen die ik al heb, dus dat valt dan weer onder voornemen 4. De grootste klus wordt natuurlijk voornemen 1. Maar waar een wil is, is een weg. Ik ben deze week gaan lezen in twee fantastische handige boeken van de Huishoudcoach, dus ik heb alle moed en hoop dat het me gaat lukken om mijn huis(houden) en hobbykamer op orde te krijgen. Ik heb nu lekker vakantie, dus ik heb in ieder geval de tijd ervoor. Maar praatjes vullen geen gaatjes, dus laat ik maar gelijk verder gaan met waar ik aan ben begonnen en dat is mijn Bella's ordenen. Ik heb ze net geteld en ik heb maar liefst.........

66 Bella's :-) Hmm dat zijn er best veel, haha. Nou ik ga maar gauw aan de slag en ik hou jullie op de hoogte!

Weer een beetje creatief/I've been a bit creative

Voor een collega die a.s. donderdag jarig is, heb ik dit kaart je gemaakt. Haar lievelingskleuren zijn aquablauw en limegroen. De achtergrond is met de Cuttlebug gemaakt, de Bella is met Copics ingekleurd en de "bloem" onder de happy birthday is gemaakt met SU-ponsen.

One my collagues, who has her birthday this Thursday I made this card. Her favorite colours are aqua blue and lime green. The background is made with the Cuttlebug, I colored the Bella with Copics and the "flower" underneath the happy birthday is made with SU-punches

Het is echt al weer eeuwen geleden dan ik creatief ben bezig geweest, maar het is weer gelukt :-) Op zaterdag 26 september heb ik samen met mijn collega Linda een aantal workshopjes gevolgd tijdens de Creafine stempeldag in Papendrecht. Dit was echt superleuk en heeft eindelijk weer de creatieve vonk opnieuw aangestoken, hihi. Deze kaarten heb ik toen gemaakt:

It has been ages since I last did something creative, but I did it again :-). On Saturday the 26th of September my colleague Linda and I went to the Creafine Stamping day and took some workshops. It was a very fun day and this made me want to be creative again. These are the cards that I made:

The final CCB challenge, nr. 14

And this is my last card as a design team member for the Corrosive Challenge Blog. Whew, these last three months have gone so quickly. This weeks challenge was to make a Sympathy card with flowers. I am not used to make Sympathy cards, but I think this one came out quite nicely. I used SU cardstock, Prima Flowers, an unknown stamp and my Cuttlebug for the background relief on the ligthest shade of the grey cardstock. I wish the new design team members the best of luck and I can't wait to see what they are going to make! Thanks Janet for letting me be a part of your design team!!!!!! You Rock :-)

This challenge was to make a Birthday card because it is the Birthday week of Janet. Whoohoo! Happy Birthday to you Janet!!!! I decided to combine this challenge with the Bellarific sketch on Stamping Bella. I used the Cricut to cut out the circles, ofcourse I used my Copics and this time I used Predictabella, I totally love this Bella! Thanks for looking!

And the last one for now. CCB 9 was to make a card for Mother's Day or for your mother. Because my mom also is a designteam member for CCB I decided not to make a card for my mom, becasue that would ruin the surprise. I made a card for a friend of mine who is becoming a mom very soon. So I used Teddybella and this gorgeous designpaper (not sure who makes this). I just love to combine Pink and Brown, you can find a lot of this in my living room. Thanks for looking!

At first I found this really hard becaude I always use images, but then I remembered that I had this quote which I really like. The designpaper is from TAC, I just love this colour combination! Hmm, it looks like I went missing for a few weeks :-). I just have been so busy at work and with things around the house. But I did participate in all the CCB challenges every week, so I will show my cards. For CCB 5 the assigment was to make a Christmas card with animals. I used these cute penguins from TAC, ofcourse I used my Copics to colour them but I am not sure which design paper this is. Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Today on my daf off from work I finally found the time to finish these cards and take pictures of them! I had bought a brayer like ages ago and never came around to use it, so I finally did and I love doing it, it is soooo much fun! I used Halobella, she was in my craft room forever and had never seen ink, and she is just sooooo cute!

This card I made with a sketch from the Sketch and Challenge blog I really like the sketch, I saw it at my moms and wanted to make a fun card with it. I used Imeldabella and Emmybella and I am very pleased with how the card turned out! Thanks for looking!

So here I am, just as I promised (hihi). But I haven't decided yet which 7 ladies I am going to honour with the award. That is because today I have been busy making Bella cards. As of January this year I now have two Mondays off per month and I decided that today I would use this day to make some cards. I finished three cards that I started making last Saturday while I was at my friend Linda's house, and after that I made two shoeboxswap cards and two cards with Bellas that I had colored last Saturday. It was a fun day! Unfortunately it is now very late here in Holland so I will just show one card and show the rest tomorrow and the days after that (hihi). This is Cosmobella, one of the Bellas that I had ordered the last time. The little martini glass is a stamp that I bought on Sunday, and the silver background is made by the Cuttlebug.

It seems like forever that I've been at my blog, and looking at the date of my last post it is! (Shame on me!) But I am trying to better my life, so let's hope that works out! A lot has happened since my last post. I recieved another amazing package from my Bella Sistah Janet (I am very sad that our three months together are over), I bought some cool stuff today in a scrapbookstore, last Friday I treated myself to some more Copics, I now have 62 colors, whoohoo! and in December I ordered some new Bellas and they finally arrived a week ago, (after being held up at customs, grr) I am so happy because the envelope contained Bingodabbabella and I-deserve-a-tip-a-bella and all 6 of the mini Bellas and they are sooooo cute! I also got an award from my mom, thanks Mom! I will post the award tomorrow when I have chosen the 7 recipients for the award! Well it's getting late so I better go to bed, but I will be back tomorrow!

Look what I got on a day I was having a splitting headache and came home early from work. I was lying very comfy on my couch when the mailman woke me up, but handed me this huge package with this inside!

I got: really beautiful rub-ons, a cute stamp set, the gorgeoust rainbow color ink pad, sticky strip, lots of flowers, a tweezer set, beautiful baubles, very pretty pink designerpaper, some yummy treats and a very lovely card. I truly have the greatest Bella Sistah of them all!!!!

Look what I got!

Yesterday my sister and I took our parents out to dinner to my favorite pancake restaurant, they make the most delicious pancakes. We went there to sort of celebrate my birthday (October 26th) and sisters birthday (November 12th). As a thank you gift my mom made us these cute chocolate boxes filled with chocolate treats! Jummy!!!! The brown and pink is mine (ofcourse, hihi) and the red one is my sisters. Aren't they adorable????

Here are two more Bella cards that I made recently. The first one is for the host of a really cool swap. I used Fashionistabella, she is so fun to use and combines really great with Cuttlebug folders!

The second one I made was kinda based on the color challenge from the Bellaholics group but I didn't have cream colored paper so I used the color white instead. This card is with Feelabella and it was for my grandma when she was in the hospital for a few days.

I've been matched up with the worlds greatest Bella Sistah: Janet Rossi!!!!!
She keeps sending me gorgeous cards and man the packages that I received from her are just over the top!!

This is the first card that I received from her, it is sooo cute!
Then this 'little' (not LOL) envelope reached my mailbox. It contained two(!) Bellas: Loveybella and Rockabella, three little bags witch microbeads, glitter, and shape brads (sooo cool!) and a Pink Pirouette ink pad from Stampin' Up. I love Stampin' Up but we can't buy it here in Holland, so to get this is my fave colour was just great!!!!!
This stunning card was also in the first envelope. I love the colours!
And if that wasn't enough, and believe me I was already overwhelmed with the first package a very large envelope was waiting in front of my door the next day and one surprise after another came out of the envelope. It felt that is was my Birthday already (and that one is next month but I guess my relatives won't spoil me for my Bday as much as Janet did with this package LOL).

In this package I found: Pink Pirouette cardstock (just lovvvveeee pink!!!!)Pink Piroutte ribbon, a very cute SU stamp set (love it!!!) two (!) more Bellas: Clickabella and Underthehoodybella, Zig Markers, Heidi Swapp photocorners, Susan Branch cards and envelopes, SU rub-ons (so gorgeous), a little alphabet stamp set, more SU ribbons, and double sided Mounting tabs.

On the Bellaholics Anonymous Yahoogroup I participated in a calendar swap. You had to make 4 pages of three months. I chose to make March, May and October. These are my entries!

Ik ben echt helemaal verslaafd aan het maken van Bella kaarten de laatste tijd, maar ze zijn ook zo ontzettend leuk. Ik ben, geloof ik, ook een beetje verslaafd aan Stamping Bella's kopen, maar ik kan het gewoon niet laten, mijn derde bestelling is nu onderweg, ik kan haast niet wachten.

Deze drie kaartjes heb ik pas geleden gemaakt.

I am sooo addicted to making Bella cards these last couple of weeks, but they are just too cute!!! I am, I think, maybe just a little bit addicted to buying Stamping Bella stamps at the moment, but I just can't help myself, my third order is on its way and I can't hardly wait for them to arrive! These three cards I made in the last couple of weeks.

Bella kaarten voor hostesses van swap/Bella cards for hostesses of swaps

Op de Bellaholicsanonymous Yahoo group heb ik meegedaan aan twee swaps. De eerste was een images swap, daarvoor moest je 13 x 2 keer een Bella stempel afdrukken en daarvoor kreeg je dan 12 x 2 keer de afdrukjes van de andere leden van de swap terug. Voor de hostess van deze swap Shannon Roberts heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.

On the Bellaholicsanonymous Yahoo group I joined two swaps. The first one was an image swap, you had to stamp 13 x 2 times your own image and then you got 12 x 2 times the images from the other swappers back. This is the card that I made for the hostess of this swap Shannon Roberts.

De tweede swap waaraan ik heb meegedaan was een JATC (Jumbo ATC) swap, in plaats van het gebruikelijke ATC formaat hebben we dus hiervoor grote ATC's gemaakt. Deze swap werd gehost door Heidi Walczak en dit is de kaart die ik voor haar heb gemaakt (met heel veel hulp van mijn zus Jacqueline).

The second swap I participated in was the JATC (Jumbo ATC) swap, instead of the usual ATC format we made bigger ATC's. This is the card that I made for the hostess of this swap Heidi Walczak ( I had a lot of help from my sister Jacqueline for this card).

Heb net een heerlijk weekend achter de rug waarin ik samen met mijn zus lekker bezig ben geweest om kaarten te maken. Ik heb 4 Bella kaarten gemaakt! Ik heb de volgende Bella's gebruikt: Superbella, Savvyshoppabella, Spabella en Elizabella. Ik heb de Cuttlebug gebruikt en alle Bella's zijn ingekleurd met mijn Copics.

June Rak Club van Pieces of Me

Ik had me opgegeven voor de June Rak club bij Jen van Pieces of Me en ik ben toen gekoppeld aan Holly Murphy.

Deze geweldige RAK heb ik van haar gekregen. Het is een Stamping Bella kaart (Ipodabella) lekkere chocolaatjes, mooie bloemen en twee geweldige setjes clear stamps! Ik vind de RAK zo leuk!!!!

I signed up for the June Rak Club from Jen of Pieces of Me. She hooked me up with Holly Murphy from who I got this awesome RAK. It contained a Stamping Bella card (Ipodabella) some yummy chocolates, pretty flowers and two awesome sets of clear stamps, I am such a lucky girl!!!! I totally love this RAK.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met mijn nieuwste SU set en ik heb een envelopje gevuld met allerlei Cricutstanjes, lintjes en andere kleine roze dingetjes.

Vaderdag/Father's Day

Ik weet het, Vaderdag is al weer twee weken geleden, maar ik wil toch nog even laten zien wat ik gemaakt heb voor Vaderdag. Mijn zus en ik hebben samen voor onze vader een 'toolbox' gemaakt met daarin de Engelse krant The Times (vindt hij heerlijk om te lezen en te verzamelen :-0) en natuurlijk mocht een zelfgemaakte kaart niet ontbreken. De kaart is gemaakt met Fixafella, mijn eerste stempel van de Stamping Bella collectie, en dus het begin van mijn nieuwe verslaving!!!!!!

I know, Fathers Day was two weeks ago but I wanted to show want I made. My sister and I made a 'toolbox' and put in the English newspaper The Times (my dad loves to read and collect them :-0) and ofcourse we made him a card. Toen ik pas geleden bij mijn ouders was, kreeg ik van mijn moeder dit superleuke cadeautje! Het is een adresboekje wat ze helemaal zelf heeft gemaakt. Het is in de stijl van mijn hobbykamer. Ik vind het echt zo leuk!!!!

Last time I visited my parents, my mom gave me this lovely present. It is a selfmade addressbook and it in style with my scraproom. Isn't it cute!

Ik zag deze techniek op een Amerikaans blog. De stempels zijn van SU. Voor de rest heb ik roze cardstock gebruikt; chalk, lint en een Uni-ball witte marker.

Last week I received the third swapcard from Elly (the sporty one) and I made one for Elly (the pink one). The technique I spotted on the blog from Dawn (love that blog). The stamps are from SU. Furthermore I used pink cardstock, chalks, ribbon and a white marker.

Van mijn swapmaatje Elly, heb ik deze mooie kaart gekregen. Nog twee kaarten en dan is onze swaptijd afgelopen. Ik vind het erg leuk om dit te doen, want ik had al een hele tijd niets meer gemaakt.

Vorig jaar hebben we (mijn moeder, zus en ik) tijdens de verjaardag van mijn zus heerlijk een dagje zitten knutselen. Dit is het resultaat van die dag. Ik heb toen voor het eerst kaarten gemaakt met Magnolia stempels en voor het eerst de Cuttlebug gebruikt, daarna ben ik helemaal verslaafd geraakt aan de Cuttlebug en ben ik nu aan het sparen om er zelf een te kopen. Tot die tijd mag ik die van mijn moeder af en toe lenen/gebruiken.

Last year on my sisters birthday we (my mom, sister and I) had a wonderful crafty day. These are the results of this day. I used Magnolia stamps for the first time, and I used the Cuttlebug for the first time. I got hooked on the Cuttlebug and am now saving for one of my own. Untill that day comes I can sometimes borrow/use my mom's. Thanks mom!

Lente swap SU/ Spring swap SU

Bij een van de Yahoolijsten waar ik lid van ben, heb ik meegedaan aan een Lente ATC swap met SU stempels. De ATC houd ik nog eventjes geheim, die laat ik zien als ik de andere 5 ATC ook heb teruggekregen. Voor de hostess van de swap heb ik deze kaart gemaakt. De stempel is (natuurlijk van) SU, van de Stipple Celebrations set. Het papier is van Making Memories en Rob & Bob, de achtergrond is gemaakt met een Cuttlebug embossingmal en daarna met roze stempelinkt beinkt en de letterstickertjes zijn van TLC. Thanks voor mijn moeder voor het beschikbaar stellen van de Cuttlebug, het papier en de inkt :-)

At one oy my Yahoogroups there was a spring ATC swap with SU swaps. The ATC I will keep a secret untill I get the ATC's back. For the hostess of this swap I made this card. The stamp is (ofcourse from) SU, of the Stipple Celebrations set. The paper is Making Memories and Rob & Bob, the background is made with the Cuttlebug embossingfolder and after embossing it was distressed with pink ink . The alphabetstickers are from TLC. Thanks to my mom for letting me use her Cuttlebug, the paper and her ink :-)

SU swap met Elly/ SU swap with Elly

Vanaf vorige week zijn Elly Kreutzer en ik swapmaatjes. De bedoeling is dat we elke twee weken een kaart voor elkaar maken en opsturen. Dit is de 1e kaart die ik van Elly heb gekregen. Ik vind deze stempel echt heel mooi. Toevallig ga ik deze set deze maand bestellen. Dus dat is wel heel leuk.

From last week Elly Kreutzer and I are swapbuddies. We have to make a card every two weeks. This is the first card I got from Elly. I really like this SU set and got it this month, so that is a nice coincidence!

En natuurlijk heb ik ook een kaart voor Elly gemaakt. Ik heb gekozen voor de stempelset Fishy Friends en heb daarbij ook de bijbehorende rolstempel gebruikt. Helaas kwam ik er tijdens het maken achter dat ik geen inktpatronen had voor rolstempels maar met een klein stempelkussentje en een beetje geduld kom je ook een heel eind!

And this is the card I made for Elly. I chose the Fish friends set and the matching stamping wheel. Unfortunately while making this card I found out that I didn't have ink for the stamping wheel, but with a small ink pad and a lot of patience, you also come a long way :-)

Laat de inspiratie maar komen/ Let the inspiration come!

Ik ben dit blog nu ruim een jaar geleden begonnen, toen ik nog thuis woonde. Nu woon ik al weer ruim een half jaar op mezelf. Nu mijn scrapkamer steeds meer op orde raakt, heb ik met mezelf afgesproken dat ik nu toch ook echt weer moet gaan scrappen of kaarten maken. Nu heb ik dit jaar al 1 lay-out en 1 kaart gemaakt. Maar goed alle beetjes helpen. Ik heb me opgegeven voor een ATC swap. Ik heb nog nooit een ATC gemaakt, maar eens moet de eerste keer zijn, toch? En ik heb me opgegeven om swapmaatje te worden van Elly. Wij sturen elkaar nu elke twee weken een kaart. Mijn kaart is vandaag op de bus gegaan. Zodra ik bericht krijg dat deze is aangekomen, zal ik de kaart hier op mijn blog plaatsen. Zojuist heb ik mijn moeders blog bekeken, met daar de lo's van ons dagje uit naar de Keukenhof. Ze zijn echt supermooi geworden en ik kreeg er gelijk inspiratie van! Gelukkig heb ik net een heleboel foto's van de Keukenhof besteld om af te laten drukken, dus als die bezorgd worden, kan ik lekker aan de slag.

I've started this blog over a year ago when I was living at home. Now I am already living on my own for over six months already! Time flies!
My own scraproom is getting more and more organised, so I made a deal with myself that I really need to start scrapping or making cards again. So far I made one lay-out and 1 card (whoohoo) but anyway all small thins count. I've signed on for a ATC swap. I've never made a ATC before, but you gotta start somewhere, right. I've also signed up for a swapbuddy project. We will send each other a card every two weeks. My first card was mailed out today. As soon as I get the message that it has arrived I will post it on my blog. Just now I was browsing my mom's blog, with the lay-outs she made of our day at the Keukenhof. They are super beautiful and they gave me instant inspiration. Luckily I've just ordered my photo's from the Keukenhof so when they get delivered I can get busy.
